Q: How do I apply my DTF transfer?
A: Follow these steps for perfect results:
1. Pre-press garment for 2-3 seconds at 300-320°F
2. Position transfer design-side up on garment
3. Apply heat at 300-320°F with medium-firm pressure for 10-15 seconds
4. Peel immediately while hot in one smooth motion
5. Final press with parchment paper for 5 seconds
Q: What temperature and pressure should I use?
A: Use 300-320°F with medium-firm pressure (40-50 PSI if using pneumatic press) for
10-15 seconds, then peel hot.
Q: How should I care for my garment after applying the transfer?
A: Wait 24 hours before first wash, wash inside out in cold water, avoid bleach/fabric softener, tumble dry low, and iron inside out only.
Q: Why isn't my transfer sticking properly?
A: Check these common issues: temperature too low, insufficient pressure, moisture in garment (pre-press first), wrong timing, or fabric incompatibility.
